Terms and Conditions for Accommodation Rental

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as “Agreement”) govern the use of the accommodation (hereinafter referred to as “Property”) located in 13 Sparrman Avenue, 7806 Constantia, South Africa, and are entered into between the property owner/manager (hereinafter referred to as “Host”) and the guest(s) (hereinafter referred to as “Guest”). By booking and staying at the Property, the Guest agrees to abide by these terms and conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1. Reservation: To secure a booking, the Guest must provide a valid ID, passport, or driver’s license, along with a valid credit/debit card. The Guest must also provide a non-refundable booking deposit of 50% of the total rental fee as soon as the booking is finalized.

2.2. Payment: The remaining 50% of the total rental fee, including any applicable taxes and additional charges, must be paid to the Host no later than 7 days prior to the check-in date. Payment methods accepted will be specified by the Host.

2.3. Security Deposit: The Host may require a security deposit to cover any damages or losses incurred during the Guest’s stay. This deposit will be refunded to the Guest, minus any deductions for damages or losses, within 10 days after check-out.

3. Cancellation Policy

3.1. Cancellation by Guest: If the Guest wishes to cancel the booking, the following conditions apply:

  • Cancellation 60 days or more before the check-in date: Full refund of the booking deposit.
  • Cancellation less than 60 days before the check-in date: No refund of the booking deposit.

3.2. No-Show: If the Guest fails to arrive on the scheduled check-in date without prior notice, the full rental fee will be charged, and the reservation will be canceled.

3.3. Early Departure: If the Guest decides to leave the Property before the scheduled check-out date, no refund will be provided for the unused portion of the stay.

4. Check-in and Check-out

4.1. Check-in: Check-in time is 3 pm and the Guest is required to provide a valid ID and the credit/debit card used for booking. Early check-in may be accommodated if available, at the discretion of the Host.

4.2. Check-out: Check-out time is 11 am. Late check-out may be accommodated if available, but additional charges may apply.

5. House Rules and Responsibilities

5.1. House Rules: The Guest agrees to adhere to all house rules and policies as provided by the Host, including rules regarding smoking, pets, noise, and maximum occupancy.

5.2. Property Care: The Guest agrees to treat the Property with care and respect and is responsible for any damages or losses incurred during their stay.

5.3. The loss of the House Keys and Remote we will be charged with R500.

6. Liability

The Host shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur during the Guest’s stay. The Guest is responsible for their own safety and well-being.

7. Termination

The Host reserves the right to terminate this Agreement and request the immediate departure of the Guest for any violation of these terms and conditions or disruptive behavior without refund.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

By booking and staying at the Property, the Guests acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
